“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” Albert Einstein

As the year reached its end, a sense of relief took over the market after a convoluted year and massive shifts in the economy and social interactions. Companies that had considered migrating and those who had not, reevaluated their locations and costs and capitalized on their workforce’s openness to change and on friendlier taxation found in other states. Different challenges require different solutions, to paraphrase Einstein.

This quarter’s report will focus on real estate indicators for the markets we cover and will give a closer look as to how Q4 this year has fared in comparison to previous years. In this edition the economic analysis has given emphasis on a new concept of recovery momentum based on unemployment data, which borrows from physics the equation of force (F=ma). The purpose is to expose indications of market recovery and strength.
