Campos Thomaz Advogados announces the arrival of Anne Chang as partner in the areas of M&A, venture capital and corporate law. Anne's arrival expands the firm's work in mergers and acquisitions, investment rounds and corporate structuring, fronts that track the growing sophistication of demands from companies, investors and entrepreneurs.
The M&A and venture capital practice gains greater depth, aligned with corporate law and connected to the technology and digital services, sharing economy and e-commerce, fintech, artificial intelligence, data protection and big platform regulation areas that mark the firm's work. Anne will work on originating and leading corporate and investment transactions, bringing transactional expertise closer to the technology and innovation ecosystems.
This arrival integrates the transactional practice with the firm's already consolidated regulatory work in technology, fintech and digital services. The combination strengthens fronts such as the soft-landing of international companies establishing themselves in Brazil, cross-border corporate and M&A transactions, and the structuring and licensing of fintechs in the context of investments and corporate reorganizations.
A graduate of the University of São Paulo Law School, Largo São Francisco, Anne holds an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a specialization in financial markets from the London School of Economics (LSE).
