Jobim and the Music of Brazil

The Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida is pleased to share a wonderful cultural event celebrating one of Brazil's greatest musical icons.

Jobim and the Music of Brazil comes to the Adrienne Arsht Center on November 6, 2026, bringing together world-renowned artists including Eliane Elias, Anat Cohen, Trio da Paz, and Shelly Berg alongside the Frost School of Music's Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra.

In the 1960s, Antonio Carlos “Tom” Jobim brought the bossa nova craze to the United States, and this infectious and sensuous sound soon became beloved throughout the world.

This special performance celebrates the centennial of Antonio Carlos "Tom" Jobim, whose music helped introduce bossa nova to audiences around the world and strengthened the cultural connection between Brazil and the United States.
