Gui Gatti Letter – July Chamber News

August 14, 2020

Welcome to our newest members of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (BACCF). You have joined in an unprecedented moment in history. The safety and future wellbeing of our members and partners motivates us every day. The BACCF remains dedicated to our mission of enhancing business opportunities, trade and investment between Brazil and South Florida.

The challenges from the global pandemic have only ignited our creativity and led us to find new ways of growing this organization and the power of its influence. One such avenue has been webinars with their ability to bring together large groups of our people in a safe manner without losing the impact of the subject matter. Over 500 people registered for our last two webinars. Don’t miss out – visit our calendar of events.

Registration is open for the Leadership Series. This online production will shine a light on business leaders from various industries that will enlighten us with their unique perspectives for the months ahead. The first installment of four kicks off this Thursday, July 23rd and will feature Robert Ivanschitz from Microsoft, Ana Dutra from Banco Itau and Marilyn Blanco-Reyes from FedEx, the series sponsor.

Join the Banking & Finance Committee on July 30th to participate in an interactive webinar featuring Paulo Hartung, Head of IBÁ -– Indústria Brasileira de Árvores.

Our successful “Open Mic” event will also continue exclusively for our members with the third edition on August 6th. If you have heard stories from these memorable events but have not been able to attend yet this is your chance to see what the BACCF is all about.

We are delighted to have completed eight Road Shows in Brasil reaching over 1200 participants. If you are thinking of opening a business in the US you do not want to miss the 16th edition of the BACCF Seminar: “Como Ingressar e Investir nos Estados Unidos”.

And be sure to Save the Date for the BACCF Virtual Independence Gala. Next week we will be sharing all the exciting details of this innovative event which promises to be an unforgettable experience.

I look forward to connecting with you soon to share more of the thrilling initiatives we have planned. In the meantime, find out how to participate and stay up to date on important BACCF programs through our social media channels or by sending an email to info@brazilchamber.org.

Take care and stay safe,
