December 02, 2025
Dear members and friends,
Thank you for your continued partnership and trust. This quarter has been about connection, practical insight, and momentum across our community.
“We cannot always assure the future of our friends; we have a better chance of assuring our future if we remember who our friends are.” — Henry A. Kissinger.
For us, that means keeping conversations open and building more bridges for business between friendly nations, every single quarter.
Year‑to‑date highlights
A conversation with the Federal Reserve. We hosted a timely briefing focused on inflation, interest‑rate dynamics, and their implications for the Brazil–Florida business corridor. Members appreciated the direct Q&A and the clarity on what to watch next.
Choaib Paiva annual program. This year’s session covered important recent changes in Brazil’s tax landscape and what they mean for cross‑border structures, compliance, and planning. The discussion translated legal shifts into concrete action items for executives and founders.
Market outlook with Inter’s Chief Economist. We examined key indicators in Brazil and the United States, comparing growth, rates, currency trends, and investment flows. The takeaway was practical: how to position your company and your portfolio for the next few quarters.
Entrepreneurship spotlight: the brothers behind TAP (Tapioca, Açaí, Pão de Queijo). Their story of product, process, and perseverance resonated across industries. It is a reminder that execution and community matter as much as vision.
Committee programming. The Business Women’s Committee and the Finance and Alternative Investments Committee kept up a steady cadence of luncheons that favor actionable insights over theory. Thank you to every member who spoke, hosted, or brought a guest.
Why this corridor matters
The Brazil–Florida relationship is an engine for growth: over 20 billion dollars in annual trade, more than one million Brazilian visitors to Florida each year, and a thriving diaspora that strengthens our market. The Chamber’s role is to connect people, information, and opportunities so those ties translate into deals and jobs.
“O Prático” · next edition in progress
Our team and volunteer experts are advancing the new version of “O Prático”, keeping its step‑by‑step, hands‑on structure and bringing clearer checklists and case‑based guidance. Built in partnership with the Consulate‑General, the guide continues to map the essentials for market entry and expansion, including legal structure, compliance, marketing, operations, finance, and FOFA (SWOT). If you would like to contribute expertise or suggest topics, please reach out.
A note on participation
The Chamber is an open door. Call, write, or stop by with ideas for programs, speakers, delegations, and mentorship. You get out what you put in. If you want to affect change, participate: join a committee meeting, volunteer at an event, host a roundtable, share a case study, or invite a colleague to become a member.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and our Advisory Council, thank you for your recurring support and partnership. Your involvement turns connections into results.
With appreciation,
Marson Cunha
President, 2025
