City of Miami Expands Emergency Measures

(Miami, FL March 19, 2020) - The City of Miami today issued amendments to its COVID-19 coronavirus emergency declaration that further promote social distancing and reinforce and clarify previous emergency orders. In addition to State and County emegency measures, the following emergency measures are applicalbe to the City of Miami, effective today, Thursday, March 19, 2020:

1.  Reiterates that the existing prohibition on on-premise food service in restaurants and retail food facilities includes outdoor seating areas
2.  Mandates the immediate and indefinite closure of casinos, cardrooms, frontons, racetracks and parimutuels citywide
3.  Mandates that all non-essential businesses remain closed until further notice
