BRAZILIAN-AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CELEBRATES MIAMI ART WEEK WITH EXCITING EVENT
MIAMI, November 2021 – The Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (BACCF).
Coming up on Monday, November 29th – Open Miami’s exciting art week with an experience with the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce (BACCF). Dive into an art and technological experience.
 
Arrive at 11:00am to travel through a delightful art experience brought to you by The 55 Project Art Foundation. Learn about digital art and NFTs (non-fungible token) and how the art world is being globally transformed. Hear from Roberto Lee, a serial entrepreneur with one of the strongest histories in the Brazilian financial market, especially in the investment business area. He was the founder of Wintrade Investimentos, one of the pioneers in online retail investing in Brazil, and Clear Corretora, a leading online brokerage firm. Lee is co-founder and CEO of Avenue
Securities, a brokerage firm founded in 2018 and based in Miami. This company was created for Brazilians interested in investing abroad. Currently Avenue has USD $1B in custody. As of early 2021, Avenue was valued at around USD + $90M and had more than 400,000 active customers. They recently received a $30 million Series B round led by SoftBank Latin America.
 
Flavio Pripas, nominated as one of the "Most Creative People in Business 2012" by FastCompany, will also be speaking at the event. He is accelerating the digital transformation of large companies investing in startups through the Redpoint eventures fund. This is the first Silicon Valley Fund in Brazil that focused on early-stage investments having 43 companies in its Portfolio including Unicorn Gympass, 112 investments and 17 exits. Prior to this, Flavio designed and led CUBO, a project to foster entrepreneurship in Brazil, quickly becoming the most relevant local ecosystem initiative with 514 startups in its network with an average income of USD + $790M in 2020. At the same time, he offers a soft-landing consultancy to facilitate and efficiently expand to the United States.
 
Entrepreneur and CEO of Mana Common, Moishe Mana, will be the closing speaker. Mana Common is a platform for neighborhood revitalization where its divisions reflect the most basic elements upon which a community is built, primarily technology and culture. Mr. Mana will be addressing Mana Tech’s mission to make Flagler District in Downtown Miami the next Tech hub of Latin America and sharing the importance of connecting with the Brazilian community to build an ecosystem of innovation and technology by welcoming more tech startups to the magic city.
 

The Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, Inc.
